Madd Team Updates

It’s been a busy and rewarding month for the Madd team, filled with exciting events and moments of growth! Here’s what we’ve been up to:

BREAKY & LEARN

We kicked things off with a visit to the fantastic team at FAL Property Group for a Breaky and Learn! Our presentation covered a range of valuable topics, including homebuying, financial planning, SMSFs and commercial lending. Sharing knowledge with another team is always a great way to start the day! These sessions are all about providing insights that help businesses and individuals make informed financial decisions. If your team is interested in booking a Lunch & Learn or Breakfast & Learn session with us, whether it’s about property, loans, or financial planning, don’t hesitate to reach out. We’d love to share our expertise and get to know your team over some good food!

OUT & ABOUT

Recognising the importance of balancing hard work with moments to unwind, the Madd team also took some time to recharge. The Madd Lads spent a relaxing day cruising along the Brisbane River, taking in the sights and enjoying each other’s company. Meanwhile, the Madd Girls treated themselves to a morning of High Tea at the Sofitel Hotel, filled with delicious food and great conversations. These opportunities to step away from the office and connect with each other in a fun, stress-free environment are crucial for maintaining a strong and motivated team. We’re all about working hard but making sure to pause and enjoy moments that keep us energised and refreshed for the journey ahead.

R U OK? DAY

This month, we also observed R U OK? Day with a meaningful morning tea, reminding us all of the importance of checking in on one another—not just once a year, but every day. At Madd, we’re committed to fostering a supportive environment where conversations about mental health are encouraged. R U OK? Day serves as a great reminder that sometimes all it takes is a simple question to make a big difference in someone’s life. We want to ensure that every member of our team feels comfortable speaking up if they’re struggling and we’re working to make mental health a priority throughout the year.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Lastly, we’re excited to share that our Work Experience Program welcomed four passionate and curious individuals over the past couple of weeks. These students, taking a break from school or university, joined us to explore the world of finance and mortgage brokering firsthand. Our program offers real-world insights into various aspects of the industry, from residential and commercial lending to financial planning and customer service excellence. It’s been amazing to see their enthusiasm, growth and eagerness to learn during their time with us. We hope to continue offering these opportunities to those looking to break into the finance industry, as we believe in supporting the next generation of professionals. If you know someone who might be interested, we’d love to hear from them!
