Jun’s Story
“I remember my journey starting with MADD at the end of 2021 – having grown tired of my hospitality job and wanting to work somewhere that aligned closer to my university business degree. I had run across the job listing and sent through my resume and cover letter like the hundreds of applications before and never gave it a second thought, having never heard of the name before. Two very eventful and crazy years later, I’m now enjoying every day at a workplace where I feel valued and loved and in an industry that is looking forward to many more years of growth.”
Turning Property Dreams Into Reality
“It was also one of the best financial decisions I’ve made – I remember helping clients buy their first home and the next year they would come back and the property had increased by hundreds of thousands of dollars! It educated me and instilled within me, a belief in property that manifested in my first home purchase in July of 2023. And just like all those people I had helped out, my property grew more than I could ever have saved in six months’ time. Even knowing the buying journey inside out, stress and anxiety was paramount throughout the process. It was here that I realised how important it is to have good people around you, not just in the homebuying process, but people that love and care for you at home, school and work.”
So, What’s Next?
“Having graduated from university and bought my first home, I’m now ready for the next stage of adulting in a potential engagement with my soulmate and partner, Spring. I’m sure this will be the greatest success to date. And as for the property front? Hopefully I can keep my first home and buy (or build) another as soon as Spring joins the workforce full-time and we’re enjoying our lives together, happily ever after.
As George likes to say, we are the sum of our experiences. Others may view me as young, but for anyone reading, regardless of how old you are, my one piece of advice from the sum of my experiences is this: Always appreciate where you are in life. There will always be a bigger and better house out there, but as long as you’re in a better place than you were yesterday, and there are people that genuinely love and care for you, you’ve definitely reached my version of success!”
