Giving back has always been a big part of who we are at Madd. Over the years, our Madd Initiatives have grown alongside the business, supporting everything from local schools and financial literacy programs to community events, charities and cultural festivals.
This month, we’re incredibly proud to announce Madd Initiative #14, supporting the Korean Cultural Festival Brisbane.
Hosted by The Korean Society of Queensland, the festival is one of Queensland’s largest celebrations of Korean culture, bringing thousands of people together to experience everything from traditional performances and cultural demonstrations to K-Pop, Korean food, market stalls and activities for the whole family.
For us, getting involved felt like a natural fit.
We’re lucky to live and work in a city made up of so many different cultures and communities. Many of our clients and team members are part of the Korean community, so having the opportunity to support an event that celebrates their culture and brings people together is something we’re genuinely proud of.
It’s also what our Madd Initiatives have always been about. Making A Difference Daily goes well beyond helping someone with their finances. It’s about supporting the communities around us, creating opportunities, sharing knowledge and getting behind the people and organisations doing great things.
From the Madd Charity Ball and our school financial literacy program to Paniyiri, the Halloumi Festival, local school sponsorships and now the Korean Cultural Festival, every initiative is different, but the reason behind them is the same. We want to use the position we’re in to give something back.
Reaching our 14th Madd Initiative is a really special milestone for us and one that wouldn’t be possible without the continued support of our clients and community. Every person who chooses Madd allows us to keep growing these initiatives and supporting more people along the way.
We’re excited to be part of this year’s Korean Cultural Festival Brisbane and can’t wait to celebrate with the community.
