March was a busy month for us at Madd, packed with activities and events that reinforced our commitment to both our clients and the broader community.
This month we celebrated our quarterly BDM BBQ, where we thank our lending partners over good food and great company. Throughout the month, the Madd team visited various workplaces to host our Lunch & Learn sessions. Designed to simplify the complex world of property and finance, these sessions offer practical insights and valuable tips over lunch, creating a laid-back yet informative environment. George leads these interactive presentations, covering essential topics from securing your first home to building a substantial property portfolio and planning for an early retirement. This initiative is part of our commitment to helping Australians navigate their path to financial freedom, offering these sessions at no cost. March also saw us celebrating the Cypriot community at the Halloumi Festival held at Cyprus House in West End. It was a wonderful opportunity to engage with and support the Cypriot culture, complete with cooking demos, cultural exhibitions, traditional dancing performances and all our favourite Cypriot food! Adding to the excitement, we also held a draw of our own, giving attendees the chance to win a souvla!
We also welcomed two enthusiastic individuals into our work experience program. It was an enriching time for both the participants and our team, as we shared insights within the finance industry and our daily operations. Designed for individuals eager to dive into the world of finance and mortgage brokering, our program offers hands-on experience, allowing participants to gain real-world insights into residential and commercial lending, financial planning and customer service excellence.
