June has been another rewarding month for our team, with plenty happening across our community, our business and our education initiatives.

We had the opportunity to deliver financial literacy workshops at Browns Plains State High School and Churchie. These sessions are something we genuinely enjoy because they give young people the opportunity to learn about money, budgeting and property early in life. Building financial confidence starts with education and we are proud to play a small part in helping the next generation feel more prepared for the future.

Throughout the month, we also continued our Lunch and Learn program with sessions at Future Fitouts, Cottee Parker Architects, Villanova and Edge Consulting Engineers. Our goal for these sessions are to help people better understand their financial options and plan for their future in a relaxed environment. If your workplace or organisation would like us to run a session for your team, we’d love to hear from you.

Back in the office, we held another Madd Sprint Day, giving the team dedicated time to connect with our clients, answer questions and make sure everyone has the support they need. Sometimes a simple conversation can make all the difference and these days are a great reminder of why building strong relationships remains at the heart of what we do.

We also spent the day together at Dreamworld for our latest Madd Fun Day. Taking time to celebrate as a team and enjoy each other’s company is an important part of our culture. It gives everyone the chance to recharge, have some fun and continue building the strong relationships that make Madd such a great place to work.

Another highlight this month was sponsoring the St Martins Valley Fiesta. It was fantastic to be involved in such a great community event and spend time connecting with local families. Supporting events that bring people together is something we are incredibly passionate about and we are grateful to have been part of the day.

Internally, we also held our latest Kaizen, where the team came together to review how we can continue improving the way we work and the experience we provide our clients. We believe there is always room to improve and these sessions help us keep challenging ourselves to be better every day.

Our First Home Buyer Seminar was another fantastic evening, with a great turnout and plenty of questions from people looking to better understand the path to home ownership. Helping people gain confidence before making one of life’s biggest financial decisions is exactly why we continue running these events. This month, we were also excited to welcome two new team members to the Madd family. Mena has joined the Madd Loans team and Seth has joined Madd Life. We are excited to have them both on board and look forward to seeing the impact they’ll make as we continue to grow.

From an interest rate perspective, the Reserve Bank made another announcement this month, reminding us that the lending environment continues to evolve. If you’re unsure what the latest changes mean for your own circumstances, it’s always worth having a conversation sooner rather than later.
